The sun has finally decided to show after the many days of strange weathers and temperatures, it finally feels like spring. The students have passed their halfway marks in classes, and are now starting to schedule for the fall semester.
Spring also means ACURA (Abington College Undergraduate Research Activities) is going to have it’s annual poster fair the second week in April. This year, Jake Gavin and I have been able to work along side of Mr. Polk focusing on the Neolithic Stones and the history they are trying to tell us.
Right is quick picture of the sun with one of the stones in Stonehenge that we have spent a lot of our semester looking at. Getting to go to England to study these structures was the highlight of our research, and made it a hands on experience instead of just reading countless books about it.
