Football

When traveling to a different country, one must immerse themselves in the local culture. This is exactly what CRIMJ 499 did upon arriving to High Wycombe, England. After dropping our bags at the hostel,  we were on our way to our first activity: an English football (American soccer) game. Even for one who is not a sports fan, just to be in a crowd of people all chanting for their team makes you want to participate. 20130303-113314.jpg

We saw the Wycombe Wanderers (in the picture below they are the blue team). They won 1-0 after an action-packed game. Some off us even indulged in the local custom of eating a pie while watching the game. It was quite the experience to watch the game with the British especially since they are so passionate about football.
