Redemption Day

From not been able to finish the race last weekend in New York, to finishing 7th this weekend in Langhorne, Pa, was a tremendous improvement. Finishing amongst the top 10 individually, and collectively placing third as a team, was a pride to walk home with. Successes are like journeys and failures are just stops, so a stop should not end my journey. I am pleased to have made this progress and to have restored confidence back into the entire cross country team.
I wish to thank coach Jose Rodriguez, and the entire team for their support. They had succeeded in injecting hope into the veins of my capacity. This is important as we wait for our invitational next weekend in our own backyard. To my teammates, I say this time the butterfly flew higher :-)….
