Roll The Credits

Today is the last day of Spring Fest, which means today is the last day of classes! I cannot believe this semester is over but at least it is ending with an enjoyable week. Spring Fest was amazing this year! I loved the theme and how it was incorporated in every event. Monday was a busy day which started off with Peace, Love, and Serve. Students did service by making peanut butter and jelly for the

homeless while listening to great music from Gary Johnson. That night was the Murder Mystery Dinner. It was interesting to say the least, I don’t think I can even begin to put into words the event so I won’t even attempt. Tuesday was Harry Potter day and I think the committee was spot on with the theme. There was a feast much like the one in the movie, with remarkable decorations and Harry Potter Trivia. The dinner was a good time and was followed by watching the last Harry Potter movie in the gym, unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate or it would have been outside. Wednesday was Disney day and who doesn’t enjoy just hanging out with friends and having sing-a-longs to Disney music?! Thursday was, of course, Backyard Bash. It is the biggest event that we have and I don’t know anyone that doesn’t enjoy it. The gym is filled with inflatables like laser tag, relay races, a mechanical bull, and a surf simulator as well as a caricature artist, a band and much more. I bet those of you who didn’t go are regretting not taking that walk down to the athletic building!

Overall it was a really great week and a good way to end the semester! I hope everyone was able to experience the week and had a great last day of classes! Now to conquer finals…
